Gold Vision Painting is an owner-operated painting and decorating business based in Rolleston, Canterbury, New Zealand, run by Cam (the "Privacy Officer" for this policy). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its 13 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs).

When you submit our quote request form we collect the information you provide, which typically includes your full name, phone number, email address, property address, the type of job, an approximate size or number of rooms, your preferred timeframe, and any details you share about the job.

We only collect this information directly from you, when you choose to give it to us by submitting the form or contacting us by phone or email.

We use your information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• Contact you about the job, scheduling and any follow-up.
• Manage the work if you decide to go ahead.
• Keep basic records for our own business purposes.

We do not use your information for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our website uses a third-party hosting and database service to receive and store form submissions and to help deliver the enquiry to Cam's inbox. This service may store or process data on servers located outside New Zealand. By submitting the form you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed overseas by these service providers, who are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

We keep quote requests and related communication only for as long as we reasonably need them, for example to complete your job, to answer follow-up questions, or to meet tax and business record obligations. When we no longer need the information we will delete or de-identify it.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This includes using reputable service providers, keeping our devices secure, and limiting access to your information to Cam and any assistant he specifically needs to involve for a job.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask us:

• Whether we hold personal information about you.
• To access that information.
• To correct it if it is wrong or out of date.

This website does not currently use analytics cookies or third-party tracking. If that changes in the future we will update this policy.
